Measures for UK businesses and employers during the COVID-19 outbreak.
Details of the Spring Budget 2020. Our summary focuses on the key issues.
We are open for business as usual, although please note that some of our staff may be working remotely.
Our general approach at Parfitt Cresswell is to follow all official guidance and advice issued by the UK Government and Public Health England. We are regularly monitoring and reviewing the situation and responding as appropriate with the wellbeing of our team and wider community as our priority.
Much of our communication with our clients can be carried out by video call, telephone, email and post rather than in person and, wherever possible, this will be facilitated. We will, however, still be able to see some clients for face to face meetings.
However if you do have a visit planned to one of our offices we ask you to observe the guidance concerning self-isolation if you display symptoms of Covid-19, have been in close contact with others displaying symptoms, have recently returned to the UK from certain other countries, regions or cities, or fall into one of the high risk groups (see https://www.gov.uk/government/topical-events/coronavirus-covid-19-uk-government-response) and consider the other options available rather than a face to face meeting.
At Parfitt Cresswell you need not visit our offices to make your Will – we can speak to you about alternative arrangements that can be made.
With our video and telephone conference facilities you don’t even have to leave the comfort of your own home. Of course, we generally prefer to meet with our clients when preparing their Will, however, should you not wish to attend during these difficult and uncertain times, or simply don’t have the ability to video call, don’t worry, this should not prevent you from making or updating your Will. Please get in touch and we can discuss the way forward with you.
